Ruffwear's apparel features an active, tailored fit that hugs close to your dog's body, designed to move with their natural range of motion. Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

The Overcoat Fuse distills years of designing harnesses and apparel into a single jacket-harness combo, giving dogs who typically layer gear a seamless solution for getting outside in cool weather and light precipitation. Simply slip on, clip in, and go with this rugged workhorse of a jacket that has a water-repellent coating to shed light moisture and a fleece lining for added coziness.

The integrated harness means you can leash up confidently at two leash attachment points: one on the back and one at the chest – great for redirecting dogs that pull on-leash. Stash pick-up bags or small essentials in the two zippered pockets, and you've got a coat that's ready to go whenever you and your dog are.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Overcoat Fuse is a Relaxed Fit with vest coverage and side-release buckles for easy on/off.

Formfitting Regular Fit Relaxed Fit
Snug and conforms to the body’s contours. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel. Tailored with a bit of wiggle room. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel.
