Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

Swamp Cooler™ Cooling Dog Vest

When shade is low and the mercury is high, dogs can count on the Swamp Cooler™ Vest to help keep the adventure going. Strategic material choices and design offer solutions for the challenges that hot-weather exploring presents. The light-colored fabric reflects solar radiation, while wetting the vest activates our Swamp Cooler™ Tech for that refreshing, just-stepped-out-of-a-lake feeling also known as evaporative cooling. Just give it a soak, put it on your dog, and go. When it dries, re-soak it to recharge it.

The Swamp Cooler™ Vest includes side-release buckles for easy on/off and a leash portal so it can be worn over a harness – topping off the essential features to make it our highest-coverage cooling option in the Swamp Cooler™ Collection. Three-Layer Construction

Wicking outer layer: reflects heat, facilitates evaporation to disperse heat, and offers UPF 50+. Absorbent middle layer: stores water for evaporation. Mesh lining: keeps dog dry and comfortable.

Great cooling vest!
This has made such a difference for my dog when walking in hot weather. She actually looks forward to putting it on. Dog still pants but much later into the walk and much less frequently. After a walk, her coat is actually cool to the touch. As some have mentioned, recovery is also so much faster when the vest is utilized. One "charge" has lasted a good 45 minutes in 25°C weather. Highly recommended.

Great vest - Keeps my guy cool
My guy is getting older, and I noticed that he's been quite uncomfortable this summer with the high heat we've been having. I decided to purchase this cooling vest to help him stay comfy for days when we're out in the yard, at the lake, or in hot conditions. We tried this vest for the first time this week, and it really helped him out! It's well-constructed, sturdy, and kept him cool all day (I refreshed it twice with water).

Saved our hiking vacation in perfect summer weather. He really likes to wear them and is not limited by that. What I think is great is that it is not “wet” underneath but just moist and cool!
